November 24, 2011 - Sueño Celeste - Inauguration

We are proud to announce that we have our fourth room inaugurated today. It is a bungalow for honeymooners. The room is equiped with a Queen bed and mosquito net - A spacious private bathroom and a terrace with view on Volcano Tenorio. That brings our total capacity up to 14 persons

July 1, 2011 - Rio Celeste is now closer from Sueño Celeste

Today July 1, 2011, was a new super road inaugurated. It links Bijagua to “El Pilón” where is the entrance of The Volcano National Park. As from now on, if you want to visit the Rio Celeste, you only will have to drive 7 Miles rather than 13 before, passing by Las Flores and San Miguel.
This quite old project has now become a reality thanks to the European Union (UE) and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration. The ZONAF program was handled by the local Integral Association for Development of Bijagua (ADIB) Thanks to all of them !

22 de junio 2011 - Mâ and Ahn, sloths at "Sueño-Celeste"

Mâ, a three-toed Sloth had elected our property, eating young leafs of our "Guarumos" trees - We heard her many times, by day or night, calling for a male to come and be sweet with her. We do not know when it happend but in April of this year we discoverd Mâ with a new born cub in her arms. Maéva gave her the name of Ahn. There we left them alone in peace bringing them a visit from time to time trying not to bother them. Today the were a few yards away from the house. They came like if they wanted to thank us for the hospitality. See Ahn, waving at you with her three toes and with an incredible smile ! » See pictures

June 16th, 2011 - Volcano Tenorio National Park

Today, a new plateform has been open to public at the Viewpoint of Río Celeste
This work has been realized thanks to Proparques (President Steve Aronson) - With the help of more than 25 volunteers of: the Park Administration, neighbours of El Pilón and La Paz, the European School of San Pablo de Heredia and the Technical High School of Upala.
