The Rooms

Our continental breakfast (home made marmalades and breads, fresh products and Costa Rican Coffee) is served on our terrace.

Sueño Celeste, which means  Blue Dream, opened on January 20, 2008, and is build on a 3 acre,  partially reforested property with trails for bird and nature observation. Scenic view on Volcanoes Tenorio and Miravalles.  

Our two rooms are equipped with a queen size bed (orthopedic mattress). The sofa bed is ideal for

your 2 kids or your almost adult one.

The rooms are well decorated so that you feel at home.

The bathrooms are comfortable and include a shower and sink with hot water and a 2 speed flush system for water economy

between Km 28-29 on road # 6 - Upala to Cañas.

Special Celestial

Day 1 - We will visit an agro-ecological farm and learn about orchids, heliconias and butterflies before an impressive but secure walk on hanging bridges in the primary rain forest.

Day 2 - During a 3 hour hike we will discover the unique Celestial River, blue lagoon, hot springs and waterfall in the Volcano Tenorio National Park. After lunch, we will stop to meet a typical Costa Rican family in order to learn about their life and the production of cocoa.

Day 3 - Bird watching @ Sueño Celeste.

Celestial & Green

Day 1 - We will visit an agro-ecological farm and learn about orchids, heliconias and butterflies before observing the sunset activities of  birds, and with luck admire the Blue Jeans poison dart frog.

Day 2 - During a 3 hour hike we will discover the unique Celestial River, blue lagoon, hot springs and waterfall in the Volcano Tenorio National Park. After lunch, we will stop to meet a typical Costa Rican family in order to learn about their life and the production of cocoa.

Day 3 - We first will visit an eco farm and learn about goats, quails, pheasants, organic passion fruits and stone carvings. We will then enjoy an impressive but secure walk on hanging bridges in the primary rain forest. Next, we will visit some local artists and see a very dynamic group of women which produces several kinds of sweet and savory biscuits . Finally, we will discover various beautiful rivers in the village and see a tree full of hanging nests of golden tailed “Montezuma” birds.

Day 4 - Bird watching @ Sueño Celeste.

Day 3 - A semi hard hike in the tropical forest will bring us to a sequence of  waterfalls and ponds where we will swim in clear, cool waters. To end the day we will observe the sunset activities of birds and with luck, admire the Blue Jeans poison dart frog.

Day 4 - Bird watching @ Sueño Celeste.
